Just a couple of questions, I believe firstly in your example directly above the chart it should read Am not A(major). Secondly, the notes here are major right? Eg if you took the most common minor pentatonic scale the second (ii) note in the scale for C would be D# (three half-steps) as opposed to D (two half-steps)..

Re: Video Guitar Lesson – The “Oldies” Chord Progression [8.19]

Nice. You see, the numbered dots on the diagram are your fingers, so 1= index, 2=middle, 3= ring, 4= pinkie. Then, the lines going downward (horizontal) are the frets, the metal lines across the neck of the guitar. You need to place your fingers ON the lines, not in between. Its just easier to see the dots and the other lines with them off. Secondly, the strings are the vertical lines. You'll place you're fingers on the strings where it indicates (You'll need an acoustic guitar for these, not bass) and strum away as happily as you like. I hope I answered your question! :-)

Re: Beginner Guitar Chords | Open String Chord Chart

Thanks for the diagram. It would be easier for us knucklehead guitar players to follow if each full beat was visible (i.e., not covered by a dotted note or falling on the second half of an eighth note).

Re: Major Scale Chords – Guitar Keys of C,A,G,E,D

Um, newbie question: why is there no scale for B or F?

Re: Major Scale Chords – Guitar Keys of C,A,G,E,D

Thank you for took me that.
